Adrian Rogers, a dynamic and vibrant podium presence, is a conducting fellow at the Juilliard School studying under Maestro David Robertson. Passionately dedicated to curating inclusive programs, fostering connection between musicians and communities, he approaches each orchestra as a cultural anchor in its region. His artistic focus is rooted in 20th-century repertoire - particularly Russian, New American, and Latin American works - and he’s dedicated to exploring how globalization allowed classical music to flourish in regions without long-established traditions. His interest in exploring these diverse cultural threads extends to the modern-day music scene, where he has collaborated with composers like Caroline Shaw, Clarice Assad, Chris Theofanidis, and Texu Kim to help bring a new wave of relevancy to the concert stage.

At Juilliard, he has assisted artists including Fabien Gabel, Daniela Candillari, and Stephanie Childress. Passionate about cross-disciplinary endeavors, he also led the Juilliard Orchestra in an invigorating performance of Juilliard New Dances ballet, which included a new commission by Caroline Shaw.

At Albany, he worked closely with Maestro David Alan Miller and composer Chris Theofanidis during the 2024 and 2025 American Music Festival to highlight underrepresented voices and explore the 21st-century canon.

Recently, he made his Carnegie Hall Debut with the orchestra, performing a rousing rendition of Beethoven’s Egmont Overture. Through NYYS, he is also a co-teacher of the Robert L. Poster Apprentice Conducting Program, of which he is an alumnus, where he is proud to mentor a cohort of conducting students through the same program that gave him his start.
